Hi,

Our department of Mechanical Engineering-Engineering Mechanics (MEEM) at Michigan Tech is currently searching for outstanding new colleagues in space technology, aerospace technology, NVH, acoustics/noise control, composites, and electric vehicles. Still, we are also open to other fields. We are currently looking to fill tenure-track positions at all levels.  Finding and encouraging talented senior graduate students, postdocs, and colleagues to apply for opportunities is challenging.

The MEEM department at Michigan Tech is ranked in the top 10% of PhD granting ME programs in the nation, and we are looking for excellent colleagues to join us to improve our research and education even further. We strongly commit to hands-on education and experiences for students, and we are nationally and internationally known for our cutting-edge research.  For more information on our department, please visit: https://www.mtu.edu/mechanical/

Michigan Tech is located near the banks of the largest freshwater lake in the world, has four beautiful seasons, year-round adventures, and a vibrant small-town community. Michigan Tech is also dedicated to building a culturally diverse faculty committed to teaching and working in a multicultural environment and strongly encourages applications from all individuals. Would you be willing to recommend individuals from your group or your institution with which we should visit? In addition, please forward the position posting to any interested individuals in your network

Additional details are included in the position description found at:

https://www.employment.mtu.edu/en-us/job/492978/assistant-or-associate-professor

Please feel free to reach out if I can answer any questions about this opportunity.

Best Regards,

Susanta Ghosh
