PhD Position at New Jersey Institute of Technology
The Computational Soft Matter Lab (https://farokhirad.com) at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) has an opening for a fully-funded PhD position in Mechanical Engineering, starting in Spring or Fall 2023.
The successful candidate will conduct research in the areas of multiphase flows and interfacial transport phenomena involving droplet/particle interactions.
Applicants with master's degrees in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Computational Science, or closely related disciplines with a background in the numerical simulation are encouraged to apply. Additional qualifications include skills in programming, numerical simulation of PDEs, mathematical modeling, scientific visualization, or parallel scientific computing (OpenMP, MPI, GPGPU).
