Title. Analytical and numerical modelling of customised foot insole for diabetic patients

Brief. Full-time PhD positions on the general theme of "Auxetics" and "Semi-auxetics" are available (AuxeticsLab). Themes are shaped around sandwich structures, auxetics, and other structured materials.

Minimum Requirements. High GPA (>85%) and a track record of high quality relevant publications (minimum one first-author journal paper). For immediate application, a valid English test score is mandatory.

Preferred skills. Skills in continuum mechanics (classic or generalised) and/or numerical methods (FE, DFE2, FE2 or phase-field) are desired. Manufacturing skills are also considered.

Location. Griffith University, Gold Coast Campus, Australia.

Funding. Full funding is available.
