Open-Rank Tenured/Tenure-Track Faculty Position(s) at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Rowan University
The Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering at Rowan University invites outstanding applicants for tenure-track or tenured positions at the assistant, associate, or full professor levels. Successful candidates must have a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence at undergraduate and graduate levels; seek to develop a nationally-recognized, externally funded research program at Rowan University; and contribute to the institution and profession through service.
Exceptional candidates in all areas of mechanical engineering will be considered; however, preferred areas of research expertise broadly align with the College’s research areas, including (but not limited to) multi-disciplinary topics such as Convergent Manufacturing, Digital/Simulation-based Engineering, Sustainable Materials/Processes, and Advanced Sensing/Automation/Robotics.
Review of applications will begin immediately and continue through January 15, 2024, with complete applications submitted by December 15, 2023 receiving priority consideration. Applications from traditionally underrepresented groups are especially encouraged. The position start date is anticipated to be September 1, 2024.
