With Marek Tyburec, we are looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow interested in solving structural topology optimization problems using polynomial programming techniques. Full details of the position are available at https://euraxess.ec.europa.eu/jobs/118834, and the call closes on 30 November 2023.

The position is co-funded by the CTU Global Postdoctoral Fellowships, a program established by the Czech Technical University in Prague to attract talented researchers from abroad. The initial appointment will be for one year, with the possibility of a one-year extension following an annual evaluation.

This offer comes with a unique opportunity to work with some of the leading Czech-based researchers in mathematical optimization, such as Didier Henrion, Michal Kočvara, Jakub Mareček, or Jiří Outrata [in alphabetical order]. In addition, the Fellow will be expected to contribute to the ROBOPROX project, a five-year project for excellent cross-disciplinary research recently selected for funding by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and coordinated by the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics, and Cybernetics.

Please share this opening with potential candidates.
