Postdoctoral Fellow
One postdoctoral fellow position is available in the area of bioinspired materials with focus on experimental aspects.
Interested individuals should have a Ph.D. in related disciplines. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of our research, researchers with backgrounds in all disciplines of engineering and science including materials science & engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical and biomolecular engineering, biomedical engineering, civil engineering, electrical & computer engineering and physics are strongly encouraged to apply.
We are looking for a person with strong motivation, publication record, analytical and interpersonal skills and integrity with expertise in the area of bioinspired materials and structures, architected materials, smart materials, or macro/micro/nanofabrication including 3D printing. The term of the appointment is one year with possible renewal.

Ph.D. Students
One to two research assistant positions for Ph.D. students in the area of bioinspired materials and structures are available.
The ideal candidates are highly motivated and creative individuals with solid foundations in materials science and engineering and strong communication/interpersonal skills.
Interested students should get admission from the graduate program in the Dept. of Materials Science and Engineering at KAIST. The admission decision is made by the department, not by an individual faculty.
