[Postdoctoral Research Position in Mechanical Engineering – Optimization, AI, and Computational Mechanics]
We are inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea.
The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge research projects in the areas of Optimization, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Computational Mechanics.
Position Details

Position Title: Postdoctoral Researcher

Duration: 1 year (with the possibility of extension depending on performance and funding)

Start Date: As early as possible

Location: Seoul, Korea
Research Topics
The successful candidate will engage in interdisciplinary research that may include:
-
Topology and shape optimization techniques
-
Integration of AI and machine learning with computational mechanics
-
Development and implementation of numerical methods for multi-physics problems
Qualifications
-
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Computational Mechanics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
-
Strong background in numerical methods, optimization algorithms, and AI techniques
-
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++
-
Experience with commercial or open-source FEA tools is an advantage
-
Must be eligible to work in South Korea without visa sponsorship

Must commit to a minimum of 12 months in the position
