Questions about dislocation souce

As our body, we birth, grow up and dead? Wil the dislocation souce be the same process, if it’s so, what’s the detail process.

(1):the birth of dislocation source

There are many dislocation multiplication mechanism, such Frank-Read source, cross-slip mechanism, L-source. So the questions is that when will these mechanism become active, will the stress be the only criterion? IF so ,what determine the critical stress? Will this critical stress change with the deformation, how is this change?

(2):the evolution of dislocation source

In the deformation process of the material, Will the dislocation source density evolution with the strain? What’s the relationship between dislocation source density and strain or other material microstructure such as forest dislocations?

(2):The death of dislocation source

One of the possible mechanism is the series of dislocation which emitted from the same dislocation which give a back stress to the dislocation , so ,when the dislocation source emitted a few number dislocation ,it will become inactive. Another mechanism may be the interaction with other dislocation source, they repel each other. Also if there is a obstacle before the dislocation source, the dislocation source may also will become inacive after a few dislocation emitted from it.

In the literature, Is there a mathematical expression about these process about dislocation source or part of these mechanism?
