Modeling masonry in ABAQUS

I am quite new to ABAQUS and trying to model structural masonry.I am facing difficulties in defining material property and analysis procedure.I was wondering if anybody has worked on this particular area and provide me with some useful resources.
Any Help in this regard will be highly appreciated

Hi...I have only read an article by Giordano et al (2002) who use ABAQUS concrete model (although isotropic) and a PhD by W.Haider (2007) using user-defined material models with ABAQUS to simulate masonry - these are found in the Internet. Hope that it helps

if
you are modeling masonry wall or panel use micro model way so read
LOURENCO's articles, if you are modeling a big model such a building
use macromodeling method with CDP in masonry walls.
