The objective of this research project is to develop a three dimensional model for masonry.  This model must be capable of predicting the behaviour of masonry subjected to new loading conditions.  The model is time dependent in order to take the changing of strength and stiffness as a function of time into account. Consequently, the current state of the material parameters can be introduced (e.g. degradation of strength and stiffness due to environmental reasons). Damage accumulation is also taken into account.
