Iam pursuing my PhD in Fracture mechanics. The thing is I analysed a crack problem with straight crack front and subjected to mode I loading using ansys i.e Three point bending. I was able to get the result for SIF I (KI) in ansys. I took the local coordinate system at the crack tip using three nodes.
Now as iam subjecting the same specimen to Mode II loading i.e sliding mode Iam not able to get the result for KII. It is still giving KI even the loading is Mode II. I have tried everything to analyse KII but still the result iam getting is KI. Can anybody help me how to get KII in Ansys.

i'm doing final year project in finding SIF for ModeI, II and III loading. my specimen is strip with double egde crack and center edge crack. I've done for modeI loading and now doing for modeII loading. Have you solve your problem in getting KII sir? If you have, can share with me how u did it. if you don't mind....
