Dear all,

I am a new
user of Abaqus. I modelize a cylinder.

I created a
new cylindrical coordinates system. I plotted (I believe) the results I obtained
after simulation to this new system by transforming them from Result Options
-> transformation -> user-specified (and I choose the new system).

I’m not
sure about the reliability of the results. My question is about the definition
of the new system. I do it by following these steps:

-
Create
Global Cylindrical Coordinate System (with CAE)

-
coordSysType
= CYLINDRICAL

-
name='csys-1',
coordSysType=CYLINDRICAL,

-
origin=(0.0,
0.0, 0.0), line1=(1.0, 0.0, 0.0), line2=(0.0, 1.0,
0.0))

Is this
operation correct?

Please can
you tell me what steps to follow to do it?

Thankfully
yours

Younes
