Open postdoc position in topology optimization at Johns Hopkins

The Department of Civil Engineering at Johns Hopkins University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow research position in topology optimization. The Fellow will focus on

algorithm development and the application of topology optimization to the design of multifunctional materials and other small-scale structures. Code writing ability is required.  Strong background in topology optimization and experience with nonlinear finite element analysis and parallel processing is preferred. Applicants must hold a PhD in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline.
