Hello everybody i m working on a project Fem erosion analysis of brittle ceramic material using Abaqus/Explicit . I know for brittle material especially Jhonson Holmquist model is best suited , but unfortunately its not available in abaqus . So finally i decided to go with brittle cracking criteria . Can Anybody helpme to use this criteria of brittle cracking
I need parameter of this criteria like
1 .Brittle Cracking >> Type GFI>>1 . Failure Stress 2. Mode I fracture energy
2. Suboptions>> Brittle Shear>> 1. Shear retention factor 2. crack opening strain
3. Suboptions>> Brittle Failure>>Direct Cracking Failure Strain or Displacement.
For Materials like Al2O3(Alumina) SiC(Silicon Carbide)
I tried much to get the data for these materials but still i dont have the success..
plz im in great need i hav to complete my PG project to pass.,
Or here on Imechanica who can write subroutine For Jhonson Holmquist JH-2 model
i have all equations for the JH-2 model along with the data to be used for this model
