A position for a PhD student is offered in Powder Technology Laboratory at the San Diego State University. PhD projects may be of experimental or modeling nature or both, relying on laboratory powder materials processing and characterization equipment and on computational resources. The PhD program offers a doctoral degree in Engineering Sciences in collaboration with the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Upon successful completion of the doctoral study program, the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering Sciences is awarded jointly by the Trustees of The California State University and the Regents of the University of California.The successful applicant should have an outstanding academic record and should be highly motivated to conduct an interdisciplinary research.
