Competence Centre for Composite Materials
A Competence Centre for composite materials research is to be established at UL, with support from Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland. The Centre will conduct innovative, high quality research in the use of composite materials with direct relevance to industry. Applications are invited for the position of Technology Leader (Centre Director)
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall direction, financial control and management of the Centre. He/she will report to the Vice-President of Research, UL and will be responsible for delivering the strategic goals of the Board of the Centre. He/she will be an experienced manager with excellent communication skills and experience in composite materials R&D in an industrial environment or in industrially-focused research in an academic environment.
