RA position available in Piezoelectricity at the University of North Texas

RA position (MS in Engineering System)

A RA position is available in the Department of Engineering Technology, University of North Texas-Denton in the fields of experimental
characterization of piezoelectric material, theoretical analysis and finite element modeling of piezoelectric devices such as energy harvesters,
resonators and sensors. The position will start from Fall, 2010.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a Bachelor/Master's degree in engineering mechanics,
mechanical engineering or electrical engineering with good academic standing and should have some experiences in the following:

(1) Ultrasonic material characterization,
(2) Continuum and solid mechanics,
(3) Piezoelectric material and devices modeling,
(4) MATLAB and commercial finite element software packages, e.g. COMSOL, ABAQUS, or ANSYS.

Candidates should already have GRE score, international candidates also should have TOEFL score.
