Mechanics bibliography

Is there a need for an online mechanics bibliography on iMechanica?  This would be a searchable index for publications that are of interest to mechanicians. An online form on iMechanica can be set-up for allowing journal entries into the bibliography.  A search-template like the one used for the Computational Geometry Bibliography might be suitable.  Can also include a URL when entering, and an automatic conversion to a BibTeX entry (LaTeX users) can be a feature that can be provided.  At least for recent publications (difficult to have all prior publications unless someone enters them), it could become a very good resource for mechanics literature and quick access to the same.  This might also encourage broader participation in the community, at least in keeping an uptodate bibliography.  I view this as a potential supplement to webofscience and one that is open to all. If there is interest and consensus on the need for such a feature, we can converge to a format that can be implemented. Please pen your thoughts and share your opinions.
