Project name: Modelling, Simulation and Optimization for GaN growth on Large Si-substrate
Project duration: April 2011 – March 2014
Job Description:
Multiscale modeling and simulation of epitaxial growth of AlGaN/GaN over 8" Silicon substrate to address growth of crack-free layers, reduction of dislocation density and optimization of thickness of GaN buffer layer.
Requirements:
A PhD in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is prefered
A strong background in computational mechanics/ materials science
Good knowledge of numerical methods, particularly atomistic simulations, dislocation dynamics and Finite element simulations
Proficient in at least one of the programming languages: C, C++, Fortran
