Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC) was established in April 1998 to provide
leadership in high performance computing as a strategic resource for scientific inquiry and

Project name: Modelling of Metal Shot Peening Process

Job Description:
Candidate's work will be focused on development and implementation of cost effective tool
for calculation of the coverage of the component undergoing shot peening process
Requirements:
- A PhD in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is prefered
- A strong background in computational structural dynamics,computational physics
- Good knowledge of numerical methods, particularly Discrete Element Method, and algorithms
- Knowledge of DEM packages (LAMMPS, LIGGGHTS etc.) prefered
- Proficient in at least one of the programming languages: C, C++, Fortran
