I have an opening for a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta in Canada. The initial appointment is for one year and may be renewable. The ideal candidate must have a strong foundation in elasticity theory, composite mechanics, classical continuum mechanics and applied mathematics. The research will be largely theoretical supplemented with computational work as required.
