The Schools of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position within the area of computational materials science.  Expertise is sought in modeling at the material microstructure and interface level using methods such as molecular dynamics, dislocation dynamics, ab-initio, and phase field modeling.  Appointment may be in either School depending on disciplinary alignment.

A postdoctoral research position is opened at The University of Texas at San Antonio in Mechanical Engineering Department in the area of computational multi-physics. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in numerical methods and simulation technologies on one or more topics below: continuum mechanics, solid mechanics, micromechanics, fluid mechanics, multiphase flow, reservoir and geomechanics, hydraulic fracturing, fracture mechanics, damage mechanics, nonlinear and finite deformation problem, and coupled multi-field problems. The project starts immediately.

The School of Engineering at Stanford University (http://soe.stanford.edu/) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty appointment at the junior level (Assistant or untenured Associate Professor) in the broadly defined field of robotics and autonomous systems. Priority will be given to the overall originality and promise of the candidate’s work over any particular specialization area or department affiliation.

We are looking for several postdoctoral researchers to work on the following topics at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.  

1. Development of new high-fatigue-limit alloys using atomistic modeling prediction and/or experimental testing.  

2. Development of new membranes for water mediation using atomistic modeling. 

3. Material failure analysis using finite element method.
