The Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics Department at Drexel University is seeking to fill multiple tenure-track faculty positions starting fall of 2013. Priority will be given to candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
1. Computational Solid Mechanics: Specific areas include, but are not limited to, emerging computational methods with emphasis on sub-continuum scale simulations and high performance computing for multiscale mechanics of novel materials.

You are cordially invited to submit an abstract to Track 10-23 on “Mechanics of Electrochemical Energy Storage Materials” at the ASME IMECE 2013, to be held Nov. 15-21, 2013, in San Diego, CA.
This paper is studied constitutive modeling of SMAs, that have some new features. Also some multiaxial loadings on SMAs are investigated experimentally.
PACAM 2013 (Houston) has some limited funds which will
be used to provide partial support to participants from the USA. The financial support is provided by the
National Science Foundation and the University of Houston. The primary targets
of the travel scholarships are graduate students, post-docs and early career
researchers e.g. assistant professors. The deadline for receipt of the completed
scholarship application is 21st
February, 2013.
The Superior Councils for Science and Technological Development of Chile will
call on April for the FONDECYT Postdoctoral Grants Competition.
The available grants are for 2 or 3 years. The applicants must have obtained
their Doctorate degrees approximately between July of 2010 and the end of
September of 2013 (the exact dates will appear in the page of the agency later
on).
