I am new in modeling of damage initiation and evolution. my job is modeling damage evolution during castingrion deformation which includes two phases: matrix and graphite. Now I developed a 2D plane strain model and trie to model damage evolution. however, when I defined the damage criterion in material propertis under ABAQUS 6.10 and submitted job, the following error occurs:

I am writing one code of  VDLOAD, I want to know how to get the coordinates of nodes in VDLOAD. Is it right to call one subroutine to get the coordinates of nodes in VDLOAD? but I don't know which subroutine is the right one.

 My aim is to apply a prescribed pressure and traction to a surface.But in the VDLOAD only the array Value(*) can be written, besides the value is one dimension array.

Then my questions are that how to apply a prescribed pressure to a integration point in the direction which is normal to the  surface and how to apply a prescribed traction to a integration point in the dierection which is tangential to the surface.
