ADINA offers a comprehensive array of multiphysics capabilities tightly integrated in one program:
* Fluid-structure interaction (FSI)
* Thermo-mechanical coupling (TMC)
* Structural-pore pressure coupling (porous media)
* Thermal-fluid-structural coupling
* Electric field-structural coupling (piezoelectric)
* Thermal-electrical coupling (Joule heating)
* Acoustic fluid-structural coupling
* Fluid flow-mass transfer coupling
Dear imechanicans,
I am working on propeller blade structure (in application to submarine vessel) !!
I would like to simulate fluid-solid interaction (FSI) in ABAQUS.
Does anyone has the sample .inp file or tutorial on FSI ??
Regards
Deepak
Dear Colleagues,
Our company, the leader provider of Global Optimization Software based on unique Optimization technology IOSO, regularly takes the opportunity to test their software on well-known, special and in-house benchmarks. With the help of famous scientists using our software, our partner companies and our representatives as well as our customers we are ready to show that IOSO is capable to solve various types of optimization tasks coming from various sources.
Sirs,
I have modeled a pile with 3D elements in Abaqus . It is possible to obtain from the output file (.dat) the stresses on the elements points (averaged or not). Is there anyone able to suggest me a command able to give me the resultant moment of the S33 stress abuot the axis passing through the centroid of the cross section?
Thank you
Alessandro
Hi,
Im a real beginner at Abaqus, and trying to model a hollow structure floating in water. I've managed to model the structure, but I do not know where to start with regards to modelling water. I also need to apply a gravity load to the structure, but am having difficulty doing so.
Is anyone able to help.
Many Thanks
Hi,
I am pursuing my master's in Mech. Engg. and working on Abaqus for FEA of components. In one of the analysis,
I am required to apply cyclic loading on the component to determine the Stresses at the edges. Its a compression
cyclic loading with kinematic hardening taken into account. From the documentation for ABAQUS 6.9.1, I found that
in order to apply kinematic hardening in metals, one must take it as Combined (Isotropic + Kinematic) Hardening.
The two concerns I have about this analysis are:
What is quasi static loading?
what is different between quasi static load, static load and dyanamic load ?
what is stress distribution for above loading?
