Does anyone know which software can plot implicit functions?

Submitted by Peichen1573 on

I'm new to this web, but I know this is a wonderful  forum for reserchers where you can discuss scientific problems with others.(some professors are  experts in their fields). I'm now studying anisotropic yield criteria,so I need  a graph software which can plot implicit funtions (such as  ellipse in the form of x^2-x*y+y^2=1) as well as experimental data.

I know Graph can plot implicit funtions, but the quality of  its graph is not good enough.Anyone knows other softwares please give me some advice, thanks in advance.

you are so warmhearted. That 's the software I mentioned at the begining which  can plot implicit functions. Graph does well at plotting implicit functions but the figure it exports is not good enough.Anyway, thank you all the same. The website you mentioned last time has many nice softwares.

      Best wishes

I just browsed the website you provided and have found many softwares which can plot implicit functions, some can even plot 3D  function graphs.I will install some of them and find a suitable one for my study.

Thank you for your help.I really appreciate that.

      best regards
