I would like to know if there are any element in abaqus which may be used at the contact interface to account the frictionalal behaviour. I would appreciate if you show light on this.
Why not use the standard friction available with contact in Abaqus? If your friction model is more complex, you can try the FRIC user subroutine to code your own friction behavior (VFRIC for explicit analysis).
Thanks a lot. I have specified the contact pairs and specified COF. Then initially i was thinking over the contact region, such that any specific element has to be specified with respect to given COP.
