Dear Friends,
I've simulated impact in ABAQUS. Internal and kinetic energy diagrams of process is very close to experimental data. But reaction forces are lower than experimental measurements and have too much fluctuation. Also Force-Displacement diagrams aren't acceptable. In reality, reaction force reach the maximum when displacement is maximum and impactor is beginning to move backward. But result of simulation shows maximum force during backward movement.

What type of material you
What type of material you are dealing with Mojtaba? If it is composite I should tell you that the Force-displacement curves always are lower in simulation compare with experiment. And it is mainly about failure criteria. Existing failure critera for composites can not predict composites material behavior very well.
But about reaction force if you have modeled the same geometry and your load is the same as experiment it should not be different!
I hope it helps.
Good luck
