Recently,I made a model of two parts
1. a circle pad (deformed)
2.a discrete rigid line (move upwords)
the problem is I want to get the reaction force in the rigid surface,but I can not.
I must get it from the pad because I must make the rigid part more well meshed,I want to get better data.
Could you tell me how to get data in rigid part when contact occur?

In Abaqus you should have a
In Abaqus you should have a reference point assigned to the rigid part. You can request the RF field output for that node, and plot it in Abaqus/Viewer.

I have set a reference point,and I know what you said,but I want get data from a series of nodes on rigid part(discrete part),will that be possible or I can only get that from deformed part?Then what does the mesh on rigid part use for if we can not get data from that.Thanks a lot.

Unfortunately I believe you can only get the RF value for nodes which have a prescribed displacement. For rigid parts, this is only the reference point.
Maybe you want the contact force? What exactly are you trying to simulate?
