problem installing visuo studio and intel compiler fortran.

Hi, im using abaqus 6.9 with the computer Wnidow 7 -64bit operating system.
 
May i know abaqus 6.9 must using visual studio 2005 or we can using other than 2008?
and may i know we writting our subroutine in the fortran 90 ? and we still need to install intel compiler fortran?

Hi,

    please refer the link for the official system requirements of abaqus 6.9.  I am using abaqus 6.13 with visual studio 2010 and intel fortran comipler 11.1.048.

 Its reccommended to use fortran77 for the subroutines. However, fortran 90, shouldn't be a problem.

Hi bernad, 

last time i installed abaqus and no have problem with the the all icon (abaqus
CAE, abaqus verification command and others icon). But recently i
installed to others laptop, it's face the problem which i cant find the icons (abaqus cae, abaqus verification and others) in the start>all program. 

Do u know how to fix it... Your help highly appreciated it because i
need to fix it to change my target properties for link to my subrotine
file.

 yes, we can find the abaqus cae and abaqus odb in bat file only in the nstallation directory-simulia-commands.... but normally, there abaqus folder in the start men?all program> abaqus> (abaqus cae, abaqus command, abaqus, documentation, abaqus verification, abaqus viewer)... but i cannt find that file... 

i dont what wrong with the installation... anyway thanks alot ur reply...  iwill try to fix it again

   I installed ABAQUS 6.13 and visual studio 2010. I want to install intel fortran compiler 11.1.06 but I cant because this version needs visual studio 2008 or 2005. How do you install intel fortran compiler 11.1 while you dont install visual studio 2008?
