We seek exceptional postdoc scientists to work closely with our research group on an array of exciting research in heat transfer, aeroelasticity, multiscale modeling and multiphase flow for thermal management of microelectronics, flow control, distributed actuation, renewable energy and biomedical applications. Essential Duties: As a member of a world-class multidisciplinary team, she/he will: • Participate in leading-edge research involving heat transfer, flow control, aeroelasticity, and microfluidics • Develop multiscale-multiphase solvers and interfacial modeling capability using the state-of-art computational algorithms for heat transfer analysis. • Develop heat transfer enhancement technologies based on flow-structure interaction. Experience and Skills: Required qualifications include: • PhD in an area related to CFD, two-phase heat transfer, aeroelasticity, and molecular dynamics simulation • Expertise in FSI, two-phase heat transfer and algorithm/software development • Solid background of multidisciplinary and multiscale modeling • Familiar with CFD tools.
