Multiple PhD Open Positions - NEWFRAC H2020-MSCA-ITN Project on Computational Fracture Mechanics

Dear Mechanicians,

On behalf of the NewFrac Consortium (https://www.newfrac.eu/), it is a pleasure to present the details of our scientific project We are a network of Universities and Industrial Companies organized under Horizon 2020: Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions Innovative Training Network program (EU-H2020-MSCA-ITN-ETN). We have just opened our selection process for 13 positions for PhD fellowships related to multifield fracture problems across scales in heterogeneous systems for Energy, Health and Transport.

NewFrac provides intersectoral, interdisciplinary and international training to Early Stage Researchers (ESRs). NEWFRAC network is composed of (a) 7 leading research groups (Universidad de Sevilla, Sorbonne Université, Universidade do Porto, Politecnico di Torino, Tel Aviv University, IMT Lucca and ETH Zurich)  and (b) 5 leading high-tech companies (Robert Bosch GmbH, FIDAMC + Bottero, Cubicoff and Safran)  with a special interest as end-users on the developments and outcomes of this network.

We would be happy to post the announcement of this call on your platform and spread the news about the opportunities for talented students in our training network.

In the following link you can download a flyer with more detailed information, so you can get to know the consortium and the project.
