SYMPOSIUM ON SOLID MECHANICS

THE SYMPOSIUM

The Solid Mechanics Technical Committee of Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering (CSME) invites you to submit a paper or an abstract to the 2021 CSME International Congress to be held at the University of Prince Edward Island in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, from June 27-30, 2021.

 

The Symposium on Solid Mechanics focuses on a variety of theoretical, computational, and experimental aspects of solid mechanics studies as they apply to the following areas:


•       Advanced Materials

•       Multifunctional Structures

•       3D Printed Architected Materials

•       Biomaterials

•       Energy Systems

•       Multiscale Simulation and Design


 

ABSTRACT/PAPER SUBMISSION

The submissions to the Congress are in two formats:

•       Abstract: 400-word maximum (no full paper submission will be required*) or

•       Full-length paper: 6-page maximum

* Accepted abstracts and full papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings. All accepted papers/abstracts will be scheduled for an oral presentation.

IMPORTANT DATES

• January 15, 2021         Submission of Abstract/Full Paper (Extended to February 1, 2021)

• February 28, 2021       Notification of Acceptance to Authors

• March 19, 2021           Submission of Camera-Ready Papers/Abstracts

• April 30, 2021             Early Bird Registration Deadline
