PhD in Mechanics of Soft Materials and Biological Tissues

Ph.D. position at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.  The research is concerned with the modeling of failure and fracture in soft materials and biological tissues.  Preference will be given to candidates with background in nonlinear finite element methods and constitutive modeling. If you are interested, please send an email to me at: cvolokh@technion.ac.il with a single PDF file containing your CV, grades, names of two references, and a brief description of how your experience and background meet the requirements for this position.

In many ways, Twitter is a mode of publishing familiar to researchers. You choose to publish what feels right to you. Each tweet is accessible to everyone (with or without Twitter account), has a time stamp, and can be linked by other tweets. Twitter is a great way to meet other reserachers and tell them about your papers.
