Dear all,
I need to ouput B stress-strain matrix to text file by using my user-defined element UEL in ABAQUS. I tried using URDFIL, UEXTERNALDB to do that, however I got a huge file with repetition of B for each increment. Does ABAQUS have any flag like KUPHVR in ANSYS to let users know when analysis is complete.

HOW TO LINK UMAT AND URDFIL
Hi In my problem I have to observe the state variable which comes from UMAT and stop the analysis when the statevariable crosess a critical value, to do this job I am using URDFIL ,But when I tried to execute the code URDFIL is not executing only the UMAT is working.
Please help me.....

It sounds like the problem may be as simple as making sure that both subroutines are in the same file and making sure that they compile. If you can verify that they have compiled and linked okay, any failure of the URDFIL subroutine to be called at the end of each increment is a bug and should be reported to ABAQUS/Simulia.

My both subroutines are in the same file and both are error free UMAT is able to link but URDFIL is not.
First of all my problem is to link URDFIL with a keyword in input file. I followed what was given in documentation but my URDFIL was not running.I feel that some statement should be written in input file inorder to call URDFIL I did that but its not working.
Secondly Is there anything extra we have to include if we use UMAT along with URDFIL.
If you have an idea please help me.
