I wander if I can get the displacements of any point just by putting the mouse arrow near by it like what is done in the SAP program. I'm searching for that option but till now didn't find it Thanks a lot in advance Roozbeh Ashoori If you are talking about If you are talking about "SAP2000", not in the same way. This feature is implemented in another way in ABAQUS. You can get the field output which is being displayed on screen for a particular node in the following steps: 1. Click the "i" symbol from the Query toolbar ( If you don't see the symbol go to View->Toolbars->Query) 2. From the pop up window click select "node" 3. Select the node of interest on the screen 4. The Id and the coordinates of the node together with the the Field output being displayed on screen will be given in Message Area You need to do the first two steps just for the first node :-) Log in or register to post comments Fri, 02/20/2009 - 18:26 Permalink hmousad oh, that was what I was oh, that was what I was searching for Thanks a lot for your valuable help Regards, Log in or register to post comments Mon, 02/23/2009 - 17:54 Permalink Log in or register to post comments3854 views
