I have developed recently new theorems and full working closed form equations in dissipation of hertzian and non hertzian elastoPLASTIC contacts subject to oscillating loads: generalisations of melan and koiter theorems to contact
I have recently extended my theorem on Cattaneo Mindlin problem of tangential loading in contacts for general geometry (ciavarella jäger theorem of my PhD thesis) to elasto plastic contacts writing 4 papers submitted to good journals. I find dissipation in a cycle follows a quartic dependence on amplitude of tangential loading and not cubic and this may explain deviations in dissipation observed by Johnson in the1960s as reported in his book.
Maybe we could do some more experiments to validate or further developments to the theory which I am developing and which could be possible collaborative works.
