Chair in Low Carbon Manufacturing, University of Exeter.


The University of Exeter is seeking a full Professor in the field of Low Carbon Manufacturing.


The University is significantly expanding its capacity in Science and Engineering, with 275 million
GBP (approx 440M USD) capital spend on campus and 80M GBP (130M USD) on new academic staff.


As part of this expansion the University seeks to employ a new chair in Low Carbon Manufacturing. Applications are welcome from any area of technology, systems, management and supply chain that is related to low carbon aerospace manufacturing. Examples include but are not limited to the manufacturing of lightweight aerospace structures, additive manufacturing, advanced composites manufacturing, sustainable manufacturing systems, management and strategies, low carbon supply chains, and the modelling and management of supply risks and uncertainties.
