Account manager biomedical software

The Mimics Innovation Suite is our world-leading image
processing software for (bio) medical researchers. Mimics® converts Medical
Images into accurate 3D models. As such it provides a link between MRI/CT
images and Additive Manufacturing, Finite Element analysis and CAD. The
software is used in different application areas, ranging from patient specific
device design to population analyses. Among
our customers are top universities, orthopedic and cardiac companies. 
For our Mimics Innovation Suite products (biomedical
engineering) we are looking to expand our team with an account manager. In this
role you are the link between our product and the medical professionals (above
all in the academic world). Your key activities include:


  • Promoting the products during appointments, making
    presentations, organizing events and conferences, …
  • Arranging appointments with the target medical
    professionals: prospecting included.
  • Identifying the needs of clients and aligning products
    and pricing with them
  • Proactively developing relationships with key
    customers and decision makers
  • Provide in the training needs of clients and give
    direct support when needed 
  • You create a network and maintain positive
    relationships with medical professionals and their administration staff
    (assistants, receptionists,…).
  • You are responsible for keeping detailed records of
    your contacts, work schedule and timetables and targets.




  • A degree in life sciences (biomedical sciences or
    engineering) is desired.
  • Your region will be Japan: you are fluent in Japanese
    and English 
  • You preferably have a first experience in a similar
  • Ideally you are familiar with academic institutions
    and decision processes, and you can build up a network of contacts in this
  • Excellent planning and organization skills are
    required, together with a can-do attitude 
  • You are proficient in building and maintaining client
    relationships based on a good technical understanding of the product
  • You are willing to travel
