GSensor - Sensors - Global Vertical Segment Development Manager Position at Premier Farnell

This is a newly created role, and an exciting and challenging career opportunity.

The role can be based in one of our following locations - Leeds, Munich, Singapore or North America.

Working in a globally matrixed Product, Supplier, Marketing and sales
organisation, the main purpose of this strategic role is the
responsibility for the development of global sensors product segment
strategy by providing the pivotal link between the regional Product and
Supplier and commercial marketing teams and driving the execution of the
strategy, through a detailed multi-channel marketing plan.  The overall
responsibility is global in nature but must maintain alignment with
overall regional priorities to ensure execution to deliver the required
results.  You will be responsible for delivering global sales plan in
excess of £25M p.a. with growth rates expected to be > 10% p.a.

It is desirable to have a Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or similar qualification.

An innovative thinker, you should have experience of technology
business development and marketing gained within the electronics
industry within a specific product, technology or sub-industry segment
with knowledge of products, manufacturers, customers and competitors

You will need to be a hands-on technical or product marketing
experience with proven ability to communicate at highly technical

Strong stakeholder management skills are key, as you will be managing global stakeholders within this role.
