This paper will describe the process of simulating the mechanism of wear that occur at the treads when a track is rolled over a surface. The objective of this research is to obtain an analytical procedure, validated with field tests that will help us understand better the conditions that affect rubber erosion at the treads to develop new rubber tread designs.
