Shock Wave Energy Dissapation in Mehcanochemcially Active Polymers
A postdoctoral research position is available in the Sottos
Research Group (http://sottosgroup.beckman.illinois.edu/)
in the area of mechanochemically active polymers for shock wave energy
dissipation. This position requires a strong experimental background with
expertise in dynamic properties of polymers, wave propoagation, and polymer
physics. Experience with polymer
processing and characterization is also desired. This position will be part of a larger
interdisciplinary team focused on the creation of novel materials systems with autonomous
responses.
Qualified applicants should prepare a single .pdf
