Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Scholars in Biophysics, Biochemistry, and Biomechanics

The Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences is seeking highly motivated individuals for assistant professor and postdoctoral scholar positions in our Paul C. Lauterbur Research Center for Biomedical Imaging. The candidates will be a part of an interdisciplinary team seeking to understand electromechanical coupling in biological tissues. The successful candidates will work on molecular and bio-physical mechanisms of electromechanical coupling in elastin and other proteins, as well as their implications for physiological functions and cardiovascular diseases. Applicants should possess Ph.D./M.D. degree in relevant discipline with strong background in biophysics and molecular biology, and experiences in cell mechanics and atomic force microscopic are desired. Excellent written and communication skills are required. Highly competitive compensation and benefit are offered. The search will continue until the position is filled.
