Hello,
I have recently started using abaqus for modelling the pre-forming of dry carbon fibre fabrics and was looking for some advice. I have quite a good ability to model homogeneous solids but moving onto anisotropic bodies that undergo large deformations is proving to be troublesome. I have read through the tutorials in the users manual regarding forming of sheet metal and things like that, but I'm hoping someone could direct me towards any website that might have a more specialised tutorial, or if anyone has experience with this type of simulation, perhaps we could discuss some of the errors I am encountering. (There is not many, but they are tricky to resolve!)
