Gas Burner Modeling in ANSYS Fluent

Mu.Hesan's picture

Hello everyone
Recently I've modeled 3 different kinds of natural gas burners in ANSYS Fluent (all of them non-premixed). I've used “Species Transport, “Standard K-Epsilon” & “Eddy Dissipation”; then I ignited the model with “Adapt>Region, 1000Kelvin”. Streamlines are somehow OK, but maximum temperatures are approximately in all models 400 degrees more than experimental data. I asked some scholars and they told me they have same problem. Can anybody guide me to a model with more accurate result?

P.S: somebody told me to change the model to "Eddy Dissipation Concept". I did it. But this time burner even didn't start with "Adapt>Region"
