Dear iMechanicians,

Please note that a 6 day course for aeronautical engineers on design principles, fatigue and damage tolerance will be realized during October and November 2014 in Czech Republic. The course is split to two blocks: Part I - Design Principles; Part II - Fatigue & Damage Tolerance run in the period October 20-22 and November 11-13 respectively.

The course will be lectured by Dr Hans-Juergen Schmidt and Bianka Schmidt-Brandecker. Both lecturers have a vast experience from their previous work for Airbus in leading positions related to the presented topics.

If interested, please check the website www.pragtic.com/DDT.php, where more details can be found. Thank you for forwarding the information to anybody who could be interested in attending the course. Note that the course is opened to participants preferrably from East European countries.

Best regards,

Jan Papuga
Chairman of D&DT course

Note the newly described time schedule of the first part on the Design Principles - see www.pragtic.com/DDTttbl.php#schedule. For your information, the location is approximately in between Prague and Brno, i.e. the biggest Czech cities, only 800 meters away from D1 highway. Can be easily reached by car, if needed we can settle a transport from Prague or Brno with other participants.

As the first part starts in less than one month, hurry up with application on www.pragtic.com/DDTapp.php, if interested.

Best regards,

Jan
