confusion between UMAT and UEL
My Masters thesis work is on fatigue crack growth analysis on microalloy steel using cohesive zone model for mode-I crack growth.I had seen papers
on cohesive zone model which is attached here,in that damage based cohesive model is implemented. I would like to know how can we implement
damage mechanisms in ABAQUS,means whether it is necessary to write UMAT or UEL for the same?
can any one give me some suggestions?
