PhD position at QUT (Australia) Biomechanics

Submitted by TongLi on

Phd student position in 'Multiscale Modelling for the Biomaterial/Protein Interaction' currently exists in the Modelling&Simulation Group at Queensland University of Technology.

We are currently working on the material modelling of interaction between biomaterial and protein/tissues under an ARC discovery project. Molecular dynamics and Density functional theory calculation are mainly used to achieve this target. Ideal candidate should have strong background in material modelling or computational mechanics. MD(molecular dynamics)/DFT(density functional theory)/FE(finite element modelling) skills are preferred. Knowledge of Matlab or other programs is a plus.

Funding Details: 20k~25k AUD per year.

Length of Award: 3 years (PhD)

Eligibility: The applicants should meet the entry requirements of QUT. https://www.qut.edu.au/study/courses/doctor-of-philosophy-science-engin…
