POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW POSITION at Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, University of Texas at Arlington.

Our group has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral fellow in multiscale compuational biomechanics area. Our primary goal is to link blast-induced traumatic brain injury (TBI) with multiscale, multiphysics damage evolution in the brain using experimentally verifiable computations and simulations. Indviduals with a PhD in mechanical/aerospace/bio engineering and researce experience in solid mechanics, micromechanics, atomistic simulations, finite element analysis, biomechanics and traumatic brain injury are sought. The initial appointment will be for one year with potential to extend for another year.
