We are offering a post doc position to investigate the behavior of copper under cyclic loading. The goal is to propose a multiscale approach based on a self consistent scheme. The candidate will also have the opportunity to develop FEM calculations based on crystal plasticity. The work will be canducted in Metz, france and in collaboration with  K. Kowalczyk gajewska from IPPT in warsaw.

The salary id around 2000 euros net per month, with some flexibility depending on the research experience of the candidate

We are looking for a highly motivated scientist with a phd in mechanics of materials. good communication skills in English. Some experiences on multiscale approaches and experiences in FE calculations are needed. Good capability in programming in Fortran is of interest.
